Q1: Can Buddy Blood Pressure automatically read data by connecting to a blood pressure monitor?
A: Currently, Buddy Blood Pressure does not support connecting to external hardware devices for automatic data reading. All blood pressure data must be entered manually. We will evaluate the feasibility of adding this feature in future updates.
Q2: Is my data secure?
A: Rest assured, the data you enter is stored only locally on your device and is not uploaded to the cloud. You do not need to worry about data leakage.
Q3: Can I export my data to share with my doctor?
A: The app currently displays data in chart and list views. You can take screenshots or export the record page to share with your doctor for reference. We will consider adding dedicated report generation and export functions in future updates.
Q4: How often should I record my blood pressure?
A: This depends on your personal situation. For people with high blood pressure, it is recommended to measure and record your blood pressure twice a day (in the morning before taking medication after waking up, and in the evening before going to bed). For those with normal blood pressure, regular monitoring is sufficient – daily recording is not necessary.
Q5: Can the data in the app be used for medical diagnosis?
A: No. Buddy Blood Pressure is intended only for personal health recording and information reference. All blood pressure data and educational content should not replace professional medical advice. Before making any health-related decisions, please consult a qualified medical professional. If you experience symptoms such as severe headache, chest pain, blurred vision, etc., please seek emergency services or medical attention immediately.
